No game150 file, using 3.02 OE-A
Hi, I'm having a small problem upgrading the custom firmware any further, every guide I look at says put X (X= file) in the game150 folder, which simply doesn't exist for some reason on my PSP, I've tried creating one but then that doesn't show up on the console itself. If I just put the folders into the normal game folder and try to start the process, it come up with a 'game could not be started ' error. Any tips? Also, would it help if I put the error number up?
Thanks |

I suggest you upgrade to 4.01 M33-2.
1. First backup all your files from your memory card onto your computer.
2. Next go into the System Settings in your PSP and select Format Memory Stick.
It will now create the folders you need (including game150, etc)
If that doesn't work you have to upgrade to a M33 firmware then do Step 1 & 2.
If it works for me then it works for you. I'm running 4.01 M33-2

Thanks, but all the m33 firmware upgrades that I've looked at mention the game150 folder, I did the reformat and no luck. |

If any of you could help me with an upgrade option that doesn't need the game150 folder that would be great, as you can see (in the link provided) it says use the normal game folder if running 1.50 and the game150 if using any OE (which I am), so shall I just use the instructions as if upgrading from 1.50? Seeing as though it definitely isn't working as OE installation.
Thanks |

I thought you didn't need GAME150 to upgrade. With 3.02 OE-A, there is no 1.5 kernel. |

Well, that clears that up at least, so how would I go about upgrading to any other custom firmware then? |

However, it's easy, but if you can't make it, you can still do the other option... |

No game150 file, using 3.02 OE-A
Hello again, I tried this method:
'Guide using pandora's battery easy way with custom firmware' (can't post URLs yet) and...
But when I do the very first section (putting the ospt_150 onto the psp and running it) I get a 'game could not be started' error, this is basically what's stopped me doing anything so... any help again? |
