psp slim 4.01 firmware problem

i have a psp slim with the 4.01 firmware not the costum one and i tried to use the CFW but it didn't work .every time i start the update an error msg appears ((the game couldn't be started(80020148) ))

if any one knows how fix this plz tell me

You cant get cfw from upgrading to it from ofw. You need to use a pandoras battery to downgrade. Also, why do you want cfw?

i did understand that i need to downgrade my OFW but what i don't get is the pandoras battery thing can you plz tell me how to do this i really appreciate your help

you have to make a pandora's battery, and a MMS............there is a guide kicking around, quite possibly the best guide on how to do this. Let me see if I can find it.
