Slim 3.90 Downgrade questions
Hello to the community,
My little sister just bought a psp and i feel sorry for her paying 50euros every time she wants a new psp game so I decided to learn how to install CFW on her psp.
It's a PSP Slim with OFW 3.90 and a 512mb MS. Now I have done some research the past days studying guides and how tos and to my great disappointment I realized that I can only install a CFW with the help of a pandoras battery(sucks). I think am able to create an MMS since it looks rather easy but its still unclear to me how to obtain a pandoras battery.
So the question is... Should I buy a pandoras battery or should I buy a normal one and try to mod it myself? If I should buy an already modded one whats a good place to buy it from that ships to Cyprus(Europe). Or if I should take the other path and make it myself how hard will it be?
I know am asking for some serious spoon feeding but I want it to be as safe as possible since its not my psp. Thanks in advance! |

I think you should buy one. You could fry the battery and then you would have to buy a new battery. Just buy a pandora one. I got mine from datel tool battery. I am pretty sure they ship to europe.

Slim 3.90 Downgrade questions
I bought my tool battery from here---> http://www.modsupplier.com
I think they are based in Austiral. I live in USA and received it in 3 days
The price is kinda expensive, but well worth it. I tried to hard-mod my regular battery myself and fried it Now I have to buy another regular battery. i should have just bought one, instead of making one.
Happy modding!

Wow, it surprises me how many people bought there batteries. I on the other hand used the original battery and modded that into a Pandora's battery. Formatted my MS, made a MMS then went to the store and bought a slim. Quick, Easy and I had a great feeling of accomplishment rather then feeling like I took the easy way out. Noe? |

Yeap, thats what I am thinking too. It would be a great challenge to complete this task myself.
Btw, I couldn't find a slim battery to mod, will the fat battery work in the slim psp too? |

you CAN use the phat battery for a pandora, you just can't put the cover back on... you'll have to search around, I don't have the link for that. |
