Flying SNES games (Spaceship games!)

I was curious if anyone knew the name(s) of any games on the SNES that were kind of like those arcade games where you had ship at the bottom of the screen, and you're flying up, while things come down at you. You get powerups, etc. I think one of the arcade games used to be named "Raiden".

Are there any games like this for the SNES ?

u no what?i love that game!..I saw sometin called starship...and its that game..its an ISO..but its soo fun...i doubt there are anyt games like that on SNES

Gradius 3 is a nice one, have some others that i know of but dont know their names off the top of my head :-/

well the odds of finding a NeoGeo or MAME game would be higher than an snes game but it probably does exist..

I found some of those, but they were way too big for my stock 32mb card.
