PSP homebrew developer RainMotorsports has released Rain's Simple MMS Maker v1.0, an alternative to the popular PSP Pandora Deluxe program.
The difference is that MMS Maker doesn't require the .NET Framework as Pandora Deluxe does, and it's only one executable file.
What the program basically does is make your life easier when creating a Pandora Battery by prepping up your mem stick with the necessary programs. Here's what it does:
- Create a DCv7 MMS to install 4.01 OFW/M33 + (Optional 1.50 Kernel Addon)
- Create a DCv5 MMS to install 3.90 OFW/M33 + (Optional 1.50 Kernel Addon)
- Create a DCv4 MMS to install 3.80 OFW/M33 + (Optional 1.50 Kernel Addon)
- Create a DCv3 MMS to install 3.71 OFW/M33 + (Optional 1.50 Kernel Addon)
- Create a Classic Pandora MMS to install 1.50 Official
- Can Create a Multi Install MMS with DCv7, DCv5 and One Other
- Install USB Version Fake Plugin
- Format Memory Stick and Install TM IPL
- Backup or Restore Memory Stick
- Create Default Folders
- Edit TM Config
Windows XP,Windows Vista,and Windows 7 Beta Compatiable (UPDATE:Supports up to 5.50 Gen-A & B)
note:skip the 3.71 method using this as that file is corrupted on this program.all others tested and work fine however
Download:

download rains mms maker and run.vista users:run it as administrator!
download official 4.01 firmware link and make sure the pbp file says 401.pbp.if not change it to that and save it on your computer!
select 4.01 ofw/m33-2 from the dropdown menu,and make sure the pandora trigger is set to L whitch is default.click load eboot and find the 401.pbp you saved to your computer earlier and select it.
And also check the box that says 1.50 kernal addon installer (only for phat psps!) then click make mms.
Disregard the rest of the stuff,the rest is optional.
When you click make mms button it puts the files onto your psp.When it finishes,shutdown psp,then hold L trigger while putting in the pandora battery.it should send you to a menu where you select install 4.01 m33.thats it.hope that helps.
ps : once you have cfw as long as you dont remove the folder it adds whitch should be a tm folder and 401.pbp in your root,you can use your pandora battery as a normal battery or hold L during startup to activate the pandora side.perfect if you ever brick,and no need to switch batteries afterwards
to use this to install the other firmwares,just replace the load eboot file with one of these in the link below,and make sure the appropriate official firmware/custom firmware section is listed in the dropbox

upgrade:after you installed the 4.01 files onto the stick,you can drag and drop the files in the links below to create a 2nd menu in the pandora menu,thatll flash straight to 5.00 m33-6,5.02 GEN-A,or 5.50 GEN-A (gen-B update also included in patch,run from game section on psp after you flash to 5.50 gen-a)
