Default uo_Snes9x_002y32 runs sluggish, any advice?

Hey y'all, I finally got eBoot + GTA:LS and uo_Snes9x_002y32 to work on my 2.60 PSP. (If you need help getting it set up, PM me and I will do what I can.) The only problem I am having is that all of the roms I have tried run frightfully sluggish. I have tried Frameskip and setting the speed to 333Mhz with a little improvement. Anyone know of any other tweaks to improve performance? Maybe someone has had luck with another of the SNES emulators? uo_Snes9x_002y32 is the only one I have gotten to work on my 2.60 firmware.

that is for everyone until Fajita gets the code optimised and running better. some games are worse than others

make the frame skip higer, put on auto frame skip, lower the sound quality, turn off the sound, remove transparacy, and set the PSP to 333MHz. that should about do it. it's not gonna be good but it'll be bearable

yeah...everyone has been complaining about this....you have to understand this is a BETA VERSION of the eLoader
its going to have glitches and it going to be slow
when new versions are released, bugs will be fixed

Thanks for the replies guys. I am aware that it is only a Beta, and that I should be thankful that I have any homegrown at all on my 2.60. I was just double checking to make sure I wasn't missig anything.

nope your're good. in a few months the system you have will be sweet.

personally, i can't wait to have it so that i can run a newer version of whatever firmware comes out and still have 2.6 and run homebrew.

although, i do hope some of these people that made thier homebrew will update thier own homebrew so that i can use it on the 2.6. which i still haven't upgraded to. but still, it's the principal of the thing

I found that just upping the cpu speed was not enough, but if you dropp the sound rate it can make a big diffrence. also SLOWLY increse the graphics speed. i was able to play DONKEY Kong at full speed and even faster than the snes plays it

but be careful. these alterations (xcept sound) can damage PSP

no it won't. 333 is the speed that the PSP is supposed to play at. @222 it's CPU throttling and putting it at ### when you play ROM's is throttling it up and down like other games would. it just takes away power like no one's business

and about the sound i lower the rate fully and turn it off in the EMU. i try not to have my frame skip too high but i really don't care right now. honestly i'm just playing the waiting game for the next version to come out
