Firmware Installed: 4.01 m33-2

Default tried EVERYTHING, and still errors

Im getting error messages when running ISOs/Eboots, the 80020130 kind.

thing is, I have
  • A fat PSP
  • Used several 'No UMD' settings in the recovery menu
  • Running CFW 4.01 m33-2
  • Tried on both 1.50 and 4.xx kernels
  • Tried with or without a UMD in the slot
  • Tried running ISOs from the ISO, game150, and game4xx files (only visible in ISO, running it only resulting in an error)
  • Having the same issues with another fat psp

I've tried everything as far as I know, the only answer i can think of is that i've missed something fundamental... This is my first try modding a PSP so that may well be the case..... I used this video (youtube.com/watch?v=FMxvSVjKeZ) for installing my firmware involving 'PSP Grader'. Is it possible I installed CFW meant for a slim or something? Im getting pretty desperate for answers atm

THANKYOU in advance

That error is usually a read error. Can be a bad or fake memory stick. I would try a format of the memory stick from the psp, then see if that helps. If you have another memory stick try that.

Go to the VSH Menu and change the UMD ISO Mode to M33 Driver or SONY NP9660.

If the error still appears, enter USB mode and copy all your files somewhere, format your stick, replace all the files you need back into the appropriate folders.

If problem STILL appears, I suggest re-pandorizing it.

thanks guys, but after staying up all night (its 6.45am, the suns coming up over here) working on a solution i cracked it at last... like i thought, it was something pretty fundamental, i was missing the 1.50 addon and 150.pbp eboot.

now i think im gonna sleep a little XD

isos and csos work in all firmware.you wouldnt need the addon kernal to fix it i wouldnt think.ive never heard on phats that you ever need that for such things.you prolly fixed it in some other manner but think thats what fixed it
