Sick Phat Puppy

alright - i am getting to the point of frustration where i can't think straight. the point of uselessness and hopelessness - without my phat, there is no point in going on.....

i have tried 2 different method to get a magic memory stick - and i run into obstacle in these 2 methods.

24749NewbieasyInstallPandorasmenu (something like that) and Rain's MMS

first method, i encounter a msipl.bin obstacle while the second method, i encounter a blank psp after inserting the pandora and pressing L trigger after making the MMS.

my 3.52m33-4 phat is sluggish - and no longer plays my iso/cso backups. it isn't totally there. thus my effort in downgrading/unbricking this phat.

i can turn on the phat, pressing the R trigger and the power button, into the M33 recovery menu (toggle usb, configuration, run program at psp/game/recovery/eboot.pbp, advanced, cpu speed, plugins, registry hacks). i don't know exactly what settings to change here.

i can exit this menu to get to the more normal xbr-type menu - but the phat is sluggish and generally unresponsive.

how many methods are there to install whatever cfw? which method is the easiest for a newbie like me?

is there another avenue to go - rather than trying to create a memory stick and the pandora battery to flash a new cfw?

can i repair this sluggish phat some other way?

i have ruled out the memory sticks and pandoras to be faulty....

i have 2 pandoras, 4gb and 2gb pro duo mark II....

I have read thru these forums and the guides/tutorials but i am to the point where i am feed up...... i have googled to be bamboozled with shattered information. the guides seem to make sense but when i attempt to do so, i find obstacles.

try upms its easier to install

Update to 3.71 M33 or use the recovery to go to 1.50. And check cpu speed to see if your using 333 speed.
