Help with installing CFW on PSP Slim 5.02 OFW

Hey, I have to PSPs Slims one is the Daxter one from the combo that was bought around the end of 2007, and a new PSP Slim that I just bought about 3 days ago. I have tried to make a Pandora's Battery (Hard Mod) and as far as I can see it seems to be a good one. The light comes on a stays green, but still nothing happens! I have tried many different ways of making a MMS but no luck at all. I have just ordered a new Datel TOOL Battery Slim, and a 4gb Memory Stick but I will probably have better luck of the MMS to get to work with the 1gb I already have that came with the Daxter PSP. The only thing I'm not sure on is if I have a TA-088 V3 board on the new PSP. Both are PSP-2001 but where bought at completely different times! I have read a few places that the Daxter PSP is almost certainly able to put CFW on! I'm not to worried to much about the other PSP though I just want to get CFW on one PSP for the time being. But both PSPs are running 5.02 OFW but the new PSP came with 4.01. A few tips would be helpful and such with this. But I will update on this when I get my new Battery, it was suppose to arrive here tomorrow but as far as I can see the stupid thing hasn't even shipped yet which is probably because of Christmas but idk...I'll just wait and see.

What PSP slim edition did you get on your latest purchase?

it is a Piano Black PSP-2001 and it came with 4.01 OFW but I sitll have my other one that is the one im really trying to get CFW on and its a Silver Daxter one from 2007

use the rains mms installer.i give instructions on my signature,1st link.use the tool battery with this and it should work.if it doesnt work on the new one its a ta-88 v3 but the daxter definitely works,as well as some piano blacks so you shouldnt have an error

ok, thx yeah im not worried about the Piano Black one cause im able to get a Darth Vader one or a God of War PSP from a friend if i wanna trade if mine doesn't work! but yeah ill deffenitly try the Rain MMS! I'll post to when I get my Tool battery to see how that one works! Again, Thanks for the help!

tool battery meaning hard modded your self...
i cut the line near the top/bottom (depening on hw u look at it) and it was near the 19, it turns on like a pandoraize battery should... by its self, if u still want your psp back to normal before upgrading to m33.. you have to
1. take out your battery
2. plug in charger
3. turn on psp
4. wait untill it boots up
5.put in battery
6. unplug charger

then it will work..

but i have the same question, with a sliver daxter 2007 psp... i upgraded from the face that i was downgradeing to 3.72m33... but i cant get my mms to work.. or to make one....

but just wantedd to know what tool barrtery meant.. (or how you are using it in your sent), a homemade slim battery.. or a store bought pandora tool battery (like a service tool!)

Would you let us know if the Piano Black works. I bought one and it has 4.01 OFW and was not sure it was going to work so I returned it.
Also what is the Serial number begins with? eg. AB01 or AB02?

Ok, I just got my other Datel TOOL Battery Slim today along with a new 4gb Mem Stick Pro Duo! I'm downloading all the stuff I need now and I will update on how this goes!

Ok, well i just tried making a MMS with 4.01 with Rains MMS but no luck! when i have the memory stick in the PSP and insert the battery and hold L the little green light doesn't even come on! I also tried putting the battery in and then the memory card but the light will be on but then as soon as I put the card in it just cuts off! Oh and this is using the Daxter Silver PSP!

Ok, Forget all that I had said before I got this to work! I had to use a XP computer and evedently that did the trick! Thanks for all the help though!
