anyone know of any kind of program that u can install on my mem card so i can just drag and drop videos and they will work on it? converting files is a pita

well converting is needed because psp can't read any other vid format other than h.246 and mp4 i think. unless some new homebrew program came out which some how installed codecs as well i don't think xvid would be playable, same with mpeg1. i know converting is hard but atleast it makes the movie smaller in size.

But anyway, i never heard of such a program yet, maybe one day.

psp media manager from sony
got it from the usual places..
it sucks donkey balls when it comes to mpg and some other formats though, its very limited.... just like the psp
wmv does work with it

If you are running firmware 1.5 you can use PSP media player (aka PSPMP). It allows you to play full size AVI (DivX format) movies. You can get it here although you may find more versions at www.pspupdates.com just try searching there, i remember a bunch of user mods since this project was open source.... i just posted the link to the first version i found
