Default PSP problems

Hello all, I am really new to this and I am having a problem with my psp. It was given to me by a friend and worked fine but I recently ran into a problem. I tried to search for similar problems on the forums but was unable to. When I turn my psp on, everything will work fine for about a minute. After that, I cant do anything at all. None of the buttons work. I cant move anything at all. My psp wont respond at all. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, what was your firmware so that we can help you further. Also try these.

- Completely shut off your psp, remove memory stick then turn it back on.

- If you still have a problem, then completely turn off psp and then turn on your psp while holding the Right Trigger to access the recovery menu to see if the problem still exists.

If you still have a problem then reflash your firmware using Hellcats Recovery Flasher.

It has 5.00 M33-6. I have tried restarting in in all the above ways and still nothing. So it seems that Hellcat's Recovery Flasher is going to be the way to do it?

Apparently so. You'll need these -

I tried that but when hellcats recovery comes on, none of my buttons will work. They work when the recovery menu is on but not at all when the recovery menu comes up. I dont understand whats going on with it.

If nothing else:
Take out you Pandora Battery and do the following:

Create a new Magic Memory Stick via this guide:
http://www.pspmod.com/forums/firmwar...will-work.html (Magic Memory Stick Guide 5.00 m33-6 (Vista will work))

Put in your MMS and then you batter and reflash your firmware to either OFW or CFW. Which ever you want to go with for now.

See if that solves your problem.
