CFW installation

Ok i know this has been asked ALOT by MANY people but i've been youtubing and googling and im still confused. I have a psp 1000 the very first ones made and my system software is 5.02 and how do i install CFW on my psp. Do i need to make a pandora's battery? Is there a way i can soft mod it and not have to cut my battery?

Also can someone explain to me what a magic stick exactly is?

Please somoene who knows what they are talking about help me? I'm so confused =(

no you cant softmod it, beleave me ive looked into it alot before i made a battery

It may seem scary because you have to cut a wire and stuff, but its not once you find out how to get it open and what wire to cut, its not like finding an english translation to foreign porn(i dont think you need it anyway), just dont freak out because its a hard-mod

Update to 5.03 and use ChickHEN. Theres a guide in the guides section that will help you. Also, it doesn't require a Pandora Battery and Magic Memory Stick.

GOBLINCOCK soft mod is posible only for a CFW psp 1000 or a realy old 2000 and it works

no i know that, he meant soft modding the battery without already having CFW on one psp,
