Downgrading 4.05, PSP Slim 2004?
Hello everyone!
After a lot of research considering this firmware, I am very desperate to get a straight answer.
Will I be able to downgrade my PSP Slim Model 2004 firmware 4.05?
The impressions I get from reading tutorials and what other people say range by a lot. Either it won't work, or it will.
This doesn't necessarily mean using a Pandoras Battery. It can be anything I am looking for.
Thanks for any help given, and sorry if this is a bother.

you can search the forum for guides on how to install a custom firmware | don't listen to this retard, you can use chicken hen and hellcat's recovery flasher if you have a hackable mobo. |

It was a second-hand PSP, with 4.05 when I started it and checked the version. |

Since it's model 2004, this motherboard is TA-088v3 and I have heard a lot of bad stuff about that one.
How do I find out if the motherboard is hackable? |

I'll look into it Potticus and Hitokiri, thanks!
One huge problem might be that I have no cord to connect my PSP to the computer. But knowing this in theory is more than enough.
Potticus:
I get your point but sorry if I ask: get my PSP mobo 100% what?
Thanks!

Since I'm new here, I feel I have next to no right in stating my opinion, but ...
... this feels unacceptable. Posting, deleting and editing in just a matter of seconds only makes up for confusions. Also quoting or referring to people which aren't present (as far as I know) is not making it any easier.
Hitokiri
A PSP 3000 chickhen to cfw guide?
Feels like wandering in the dark, but I'll give it a shot, thanks! |

the psp 3k and a 2k mobo are unhackable by Pandora and MMS, I quoted that douche bag because he was misleading and he deleted his post, if infact you have the unhackable mobo you would have perma bricked your psp |

Thanks for solving that out Potticus, now things are more clear than before.
It doesn't sound too good hearing that it might be perma bricked (which is not what I want I assume).
So to find out which condition my mobo is in, chickhen is my saviour?
Sorry for the bother once again. |
