Downgrading from [Version 6.10] to [Version 5.50]

Okay, so, someone I know wanted to borrow my PSP-3001. Before I lent it, I forgot to tell him to not to update the system. What happened was, he ended up Updating from 5.03 to 6.10.

The reason I want 5.50 is because I can place ChickHEN on my PSP for various purposes. I heard about downloading the 5.50G Gen-A then get Gen-B, B2, C, then D. Only problem is, I don't understand exactly what to do. Is there an easier, more effective way to do downgrade? If not, would someone please explain how to do this without messing up my sysytem.

EDIT: I used to have 5.03, is 5.50 better for ChickHEN?

yeah man, you're stuck on ofw until they get some other type of exploit for it on a higher firmware...get a 2nd hand phat or early slim

since no one has mentioned it yet, no 5.50 is NOT better for chickHEN. the only firmware chickHEN currently works on is 5.03. ONLY 5.03

nope, once you go over 5.03 and install ofw, you have no other options to downgrade without the use of pandora/mms...no ways around it

Hmm, a 3000 with 6.xx OFW... That's the absolute worst case scenario. I'd smack that guy if I were you =P

any tricks, ways to downgrade...or run cso/iso......
