I have a PSP-2000. It has the newest firmware on it, version 6.1. If I am reading correctly, there is no way to downgrade this version? Just making sure I got it right. Haha
Thanks for your help. |

I was really sad, and then kinda hopeful... I thought Pandora batteries only worked with firmware 3.5ish or lower... |

But yeah, check that thread mobster has linked to find out. |

So I went to the link and read everything on it...
1. I have no idea what the original firmware was that came on it. I searched around and couldn't find a definite answer either. If anyone knows, that would be a great help, as said before, its the Special Edition Final Fantasy VII one, Japenese version.
2)Serial code below the battery
This doesn't matter, it says anyway...
3)Box Code and limited edition bundles
This doesn't mention my limited edition bundle, and I have no box code. It just says ss259 where it would be.
4)New box type serial codes
Not on my box.
5)DA's TA-88v3 identifier
Website down, and I don't have access to anyone that has an already hacked PSP.
6)Date code
No date code...
So, I guess I just buy the pandora and MMS and try? |

Yes, your PSP is hackable. All silver Slims are hackable.

So, if I go and buy a kit in the corner, it states,
Contents of the Kit
· 1 x Magic Memory Stick
· 1 x Pandora Battery
Compatibility Chart
- PSP Fat 1000 All versions supported - PSP Slim 2000 Firmware versions up to 3.95
- PSP Slim 3000 Not supported
I know I was told somewhere, but I just want to be sure, this will work on ALL OFWs, correct? |

Don't buy from this site. And yes; if your Slim is hackable (it is) then the actual firmware doesn't matter. |

Just google, really. I bought my first one (before I started making them) from ebay. This site has terribly slow shipping, and fake memory sticks. |
