NHL 2007 Review

Basically, as one would expect, a hockey game. Has many features including Exhibition play, Season Mode, Dynasty Mode, etc. The game itself is probably the best (if only one) made for ice hockey. I am not an ardent hockey fan or follower myself, but I found that this game still kept my general interest.

The graphics are good for a sports PSP game- models aren't too blocky, decent lighting, etc. The sound... i have a question mark next to Sound (soundtrack) because i cut my iso down (shhh!), so I only had one track. The sound effects are quite realistic though. The controls are available in two forms: advanced and basic. The basic set is easy enough for anyone to pick up and play, while the advanced controls take a while to get used to, but allow almost full control. Overall, my rating is a 9.0 (coming from a non-hockey fan). However, you hockey fanatics out there may conclude differently!

change sound to N/A then...if u dont kno what the sound is...last hockey game i played was nhl 2001...hated hockey ever since

i play 07 all the time and online is awsome on the psp version,
overall-GREAT GAME
I also wish you could change the amount of games played in the dynasty mode, because 82 is a bit lengthy...

I hate simming. Even though I'll play 62 out of the 82 games. I'm a hockey fanatic, so I'll say I enjoy it alot more than I enjoyed other hockey games, its good with a few gripes. Goalies have intricately painted masks that are amazing, I mean I'm playing with buffalo in A dark blue and gold jersey and a white helmet. Only one goalie played with a white helmet, Marty Biron. The biggest problem is that you can't change anything during actual gameplay. If my goalie lets in 2 goals in 5 shots, I want another guy in there! I mean if you make a mistake you have to quit to fix it.

true lol, i wish that you could edit lines during the game and change goalies!!! Good point and yeah i hate simming games lol, it feels like somethings missing and that my season isnt complete lol

Hmm, i got this game a few weeks ago when i had a chance to go to the PX but havn't even opened it yet. After reading this maybe ill check it out, sounds cool, im not that big of a hockey fan either...

the online playing on this game sux. everyone turns it off when there losing. but ya overall this is my favorite game on psp so far
