Default Lumines

I was suprised to find no threads for lumines.

Good:
Gameplay: AWESOMEEE! this game is for anyone who even thinks they like puzzle games. or even if you have never tried a puzzle game, try this out and get entranced. the highly addictive "trying to get as many squares as possible before that line takes em all away " gameplay keeps you rushing and rushing to get more and more. i found it hard to play this game without getting all worked up in intense moments. just as tetris when you are wayy at the top and almost dead, and the sense of relief as you wipe out half the screen with an incredible stroke of luck.

Visuals: all of the dazeling lights and your icon cheering you on kind of work to distract you in a way, but that is a good thing. it allows for longer concentration on the game as a whole. especially shake your body, when the background reads " shake your body " all over. you want to read that but you also need to concentrate on pwning blocks. it gives more room to mess up by looking around, so you have a chance to recover yourself and rack up mega points.

Sound: the music to this game is entrancing, i could listen to all of the skins one after another forever possibly. well not maybe forever, but for quite a long time. also depending on the size or what you do with the blocks there is a different sound, so in a way it makes you the dj. if you start to get into the zone the song sounds better and better and better. till finally you realize how awesomeistic that sounds and you loose concentration.

Bad:
i'm trying to be non biased, but i really cannot find many things wrong this game. as for the genre it is in it is really a perfect game. it keeps you busy for either a couple of mins during lunch break, or hours in your bed under the covers (i'm 20 and i still do that) during late hours just straining to break your high score.

all in all this is a very awesome, it is a must-own for all psp users.

I doubt they will call it Lumines 2 though... and i dont think think they would re-release the same game with little differences... but i guess i cant really say that... because Tetris did the same thing.... thanks for the review i was thinking about getting this game when i get a PSP and now im sure i will. Thanks again
