Game Description : You start of just like in the Tokyo drift film, your an American in japan with only one American friend who helps you get by, you first get to choose your car,there is a wide variety from the start and even more cars as you progress through the game, the cars range from Nissan 180sx to ‘06 Honda Civic EX 1.8 and dodge charger and many more American muscle cars, of course it has the Subaru Impreza's and Mitsubishi Evo's and super cars like the Honda NSX.
This game has thought of a lot put into it, the car customization has been taken to a new level with this game, you can tuned/modify almost everything, you can leave your car looking standard or add some aftermarket bumpers and spoilers or even add a wide body kit, with some of the cars like the Nissan 180sx and Mazda RX7 with the flip-up lights, you can set it so the lights are fully open, half open, or the left fully open and the right half open, or vice versa, you can even hang little "Drifter Charms" to the towing hook on the backs of the cars, these "Drifter Charms" are little figurines from peoples favorite Namco arcade games such as Tekken and pac-man, you can have Nina Williams (Tekken), Pinky (pac-man) and they swing just like they would if you attached one to a real car, the performance upgrades are the same as usual for any car tuner game, complete with NOS, turbos, springs, brakes, tires.
There is a lot of different racing modes to be taking part in, theres the destination battle (point to point/a to b), top speed battles (person who reached a higher top speed (doesn't have to be sustained) on a certain length of track wins) and then theres the drifting battle (there is a few drifting techniques that get you points, the feint, braking drift, power over, kansei + few others) and also you have the races where your freely driving around Tokyo and you meet a racer on the roads, and you just have to get so far in front of the racer to win, its just like the outrun races on need for speed.
