it is a great game; though psp's D- pad could use fixing....... but that doesn't take the fun away from awesome game play.

Game: Tekken: Dark Resurrection
Game Description: All the Tekken you know and love jam packed into a small UMD disc for you portable pleasure.
Number of Players: 1-2 (No online play)
Genre: Fighting
Retail Price: 39.99$ MSRP
Graphics: 10
Simply a stunning game to look at on the PSP. All the characters of detailed, the fighting environments are beautiful, great lighting affects and most important of all, smooth character animation. Customized character costumes all look great while fighting too! Oh, one last thing, all this beauty and all the steady frame rate you need to play flawlessly.
Sound: 8
The overall fighting noised and sounds are pretty good, some of the crunching sounds that you hear sometimes can make you spine tingle a bit. The voice acting, like most fighting games, were really cheesy in dialog. I found the music in the background to be a bit annoying though.
Controls: 9
Controls are generally rock solid and responsive, although advanced combo moves are a headache to pull off.
Gameplay: 9.5
Tekken: Dark Resurrection has a lot of modes of play to offer. A handfull of fighting modes, including; arcade, story, quick battle (which throws you into a match for a good pick-up-and-play session), time attack, survival, gold rush (basically land as much damage for as much money as possible), practice and the Tekken Dojo, which let's you fight CPU in a ladder system to increase you rank. Although if you're sick of fighting, you can play a bunch of mini-games that are included in the package. These mini-games include a fairly fun bowling game called: Tekken Bowl, which, as the name implies, is basically a game of bowling played with your chosen Tekken character. There are also tons of unlockables to uncover in this game.
Overall: 9.5
This is an awsome game with so much to offer. The unlockables add a lot of replay value, even when the fighting itself is enough to keep you playing more and more and more. This is pretty much a must have for all PSP owning fighting fanatics.

I forgot to mention something about the controls... I have to bump the Control Score to 9 because advanced combo combination are downright impossible to execute with the D-pad and the joystick.
