Default Madden 07

Game title:Madden 07

Game Description:
Last year, Madden on PSP was jerkier than Terrell Owens. It chugged and stammered like Warren Sapp. But that's all in the past. While the slowdown made last season's game a frustrating affair, 07 glides along smoother than the Bucs running back Cadillac Williams.

Numbers of players 1-4

price 29.99

Rating Description

9.0 Presentation
If they could add players, coach, camera men, and cheerleaders on the sidelines, and do a few cut aways to them during the game, I'd give this game a perfect 10, but as it is, I have to give it a 9.
10.0 Graphics
I can't imagine better graphics that this on the PSP.
9.0 Sound
Crowd sounds better than last year, stadium sounds better, and you have Al and John doing play by play.
9.0 Gameplay
IMO just as good as the consoles!
10.0 Lasting Appeal
As I said, I'm happy I spent $40 and have only played exibition games so far, there is a ton left for me to check out...
9.5 OVERALL
(out of 10)

Portable football is finally here folks! Last year's teaser, Madden 2006 on the PSP looked the part, but the poor load times, stale gameplay and mediocre graphics made the game "ok", but not... "I gotta sell some blood and go get me this game". Well alot has changed in the past year!

The load times are very respectible! Maybe 10-20 seconds to start up a game, but once you are playing there are very few pauses in the action (unlike last year where after each play it paused for 3-4 seconds). This year there is a very brief pause after the play, and I mean maybe 1 second if that! Great job EA, the game plays much better!!!

Graphics, WOW, what a difference TURF can make! Field textures look way more accurate to what they actually look like. Play in GreenBay and you'll see grass that looks like grass, play in Indianapolis and you'll see their turf, that looks like their turf. That's far better than last year's generic green carpet!

Player animations are far better than last year, and gone is the simple run for touchdowns every play!
