IGN: Reader Review of: Transformers: The GameGame title : Transformer the game
Game Description:The Game's PSP recreation of this summer's big robot transformaganza is completely different from its disappointing, full-sized console and PC brethren. It aims lower, but comes closer to reaching its goals, so it's still a letdown - but it's a letdown with a totally separate feel.

Many would expect Movie-based games to totally suck ass but this 1 did keep my Gaming engine oil going for a rather long time.
I've not watched the movie but can tell that the game's overall story experience was good.
To the gameplay, it is still not too bad though robot movements can feel abit bulky at times as well as inaccurate. The Target lock definitely needs significant improvement. Weapons available are pretty cool & varies alot of your choice of selection (e.g. if u go for a more powerful dmg Laser gun, you sacrifice abit of fire rate in turn) depending on how you like to play your Transformer Robot. The ability to switch transform to a vehicle like ironhide's Jeep like vehicle as well as StarScream's F-22 Raptor fighterjet made up for alot of fun points to play this game (personally, the Flying Transformers to me are rather hard 2 control and Activision definitely did not make an effort to simplify the usage when these bots are in flight mode).
