This is a pretty great game for the PSP, it has the same name as the console versions, but it has different cars ,the city,and different story
you start off the game in a cutscene where your racing your brother ,but then he crashes in front of you take a very sharp right and a truck hits you(the screen blacks out before you hit the truck)next you find yourself at the hospital where Sarah meets you,then you meet carter who is your friend,you eventually head out to the graveyard where you find out it wasn't an "accident"but someone has killed your brother,carter has taken a picture on his pda and apparently there was a 3RD car involved which caused the crash,now your off to find who killed your brother
Gameplay consists of "crew racing" to help you out ,there are 3 categories assassins,drafters,brawlers and subclasses,mechanic,fixer
assassins-get in front of the target car and lay down spike stripes which may stop all 6 cars in the race,INCLUDING you
Brawlers-smash into the target car and stalls the rivals car out
drafters get in front of you and give you a speed boost
subclasses-these are addons to the other classes
mechanics -give you a performance boost during the race
fixer-gives you extra money at the end of the race different races earn different money 1 maybe 100$ another may be 1000$
some races you may not use your crew for example the knockout events ,you cant use your crew its just you vs. 3 other rival crew cars
by the way you can also pick your crews name and pick your gang sign and color
load times are excellent you get in a race like 4-8 sec.10/10
graphics are pretty nice in this game8/10
sound is great 8/10
even if you beet the lengthy career mode you can still take your customized car online and compete up to 4 racers which is pretty good
overall I do recommend you buying this game ,its a great racing game
today it cost around $30u.s.
