Game Title : FIFA07
Game Description : Soccer Simulation
Number Of Players : Single + ad hoc and Infrastructure
Genre : Sports
Retail Price : $29.99
Graphics out of 10 : 8
Sound out of 10 : 10
Controls out of 10 : 9.5
Gameplay out of 10 : 9
Overall out of 10 : 9.5

Ok, so I was in love with this game, and then I played the demo for World Tour Soccer 06, and for a minute I almost fell out of love, as the actual gameplay of WTS is better than the FIFA game, but the rest of FIFA, IMHO, blows WTS out of the water.

First off, the music... DAMN! This game has some kick ass tracks, and I really like listening to Euro and Latin tracks I've never heard before. Along with the play-by-play and crowd noise(s), the sound of the game is great.

Second, gameplay is as I've described above, but it is not horrible by any stretch. The game is seen and played from a distance, and unlike WTS, the distance can sometimes hinder your play, b/c your not sure of where the other player may be going, and looking from such a distance, can make judging situations a little tricky.

Third, the minigames are fun. Juggling, requires that you stand the PSP on its side (direction pad down), your "player" (you get to choose from a myriad of players from all over the world, more on this in a minute) will stand there and execute moves, as the game directs you to press certain buttons. This can be fun for awhile, but it gets hard... Real hard. The Wall Attack minigame, direct you to switch b/t right and left feet, as you play a breakout-type of game, which is a lot of fun. I play this a lot.

Finally, you can choose from just about all the major football leagues in the world, including MLS, English Premier, German Budesliga, etc etc. My roommate in California was bummed that it didn't have El Salvador (he is from there), but there aren't too many countries it is missing. So you have National teams, along with pro leagues. This is awesome, IMHO. Means you can play in a lot of different leagues, as much as you want.

I'm still horrible at this game, but I motor through b/c of how much fun it is to play (not fun to lose, but...) Give it a shot, especially if you like soccer.

^All CFW over 3.03 should work, just to be safe, use 3.40oe-a or 3.52M33-4 (which I use without any problems)

Fifa is a great game and I found it pretty hard to score when I started off. After playing 1,5seasons, I unfortunately found out how to score easily, winning each match with 7-0, 8-0 etc now.

Basically all you have to do is walk in a zigzag style towards the goalkeeper. The defenders (especially works if the team you're playing defends zonal) will step aside and let the next one take you on, but if you cleverly zigzag and walk through (meaning without sprint) you'll end up in the penalty box with the GK and one defender in front of you. Aim for the corners and shoot. Works every time lol.

Apart from that, it's pretty great. Nice managing options aswell. Once the training sessions run out in Career mode, they don't refill appearantly, or maybe I just missed an option.

Sweet, I don't really like many sport games but this one sounds interesting. I think I'll give it a shot.
