whats the point of mgs portable ops plus?
its my third day playing it, its the japanese version.
i cant understand whats going on, plus all i do is run around and pick up items that i cant use over the next level, meaning easy, normal, hard...
ive read that its cause is to use all whats been picked up for online battle..
this true?
wheres the story line? |

whats the point of mgs portable ops plus?
I'm pretty sure it's primarily a multiplayer based game. I think you play the singleplayer to make your multiplayer guy better.

whats the point of mgs portable ops plus?
unfortunatly dude, the story is NOT in the plus version, this was pretty upsetting when i saw it, and yeah im in the same boat. there are specialweapons for characters you cannot use, the upside to thsi entire game is its online multiplayer compatability not only that. but in this game you can unlock Raiden as a playable character and also Metal Gear Solid 4 Solid Snake as a playable character. pretty cool to play the game as old snake before he's here.

I was a little disappointed with the game because it's not really metal gear without the story. Sadly i returned the game the same day and got kane and lynch instead. | |

dont get me wrong its a great game to go online with, i find it fun but dont get it without getting portable ops 1

Portable Ops Plus acts almost as an add-on to Portable Ops... i guess thats y they called is Portable Ops 'Plus' but neway yea i think it is mainly for multiplayer since the first game was slightly lacking in that area | |

wtf? i got it for my brother cuz he wanted a new game on his psp... I have and played PO but i didn't know + was just multiplayer... crap now i have to rip him my PO.. |

when you hopp in MGO for the first time its liek jumping in a pool for teh first time lol....in 8 feet
im a really fast learner so it took me a couple of hours to get used to the game but i really enjoy it.
also MPO+ is an expansion pack to portable ops
konami was gonna just release portable ops+ and portable ops togethor but they couldent fit them both on one umd 
so they just sold it as a regular game.
but its a pretty good deal to me because the games only 20 bucks because its lacking the story
better than paying 40 for a game with no story

thast because its just an expansion for the online
i love it
cause i play online
if u dont have online then your most likely NOT gonna like it
cause theirs no point
the only reason why they have the infinity missions is to boost up your characters and items for online
