Great game eye popping graphics and state of the art sound effects. It also had a great story & plot to it. The only negative thing I can say about is that it was to short! I completed it in 2 days.

I played about half (maybe) of GoW1 on a friend's PS2 and it pretty much eliminated the hatred I had for the PS controller, so I had to get my hands on CoO when I got my PSP, and I don't regret it.
I'm playing through it the third time (with the 3rd costume. no spoiler

) and I'm still lovin it.

Top-notch music. Orchestral is the shit for these mythological games, dunno why you'd want modern (heavy rock?) music in it. Anyone remember Prince of Persia WW when he went all emo and the soundtrack was constant grating guitar?

I still don't know how people complete this in 5 hours... I just arrived at Hades in 4 hours, playing on God mode. Probably cause I die constantly trying to milk the most red orbs as possible (150+ hits

)

Personally, to me the game was bad. The sound,the,graphics and the controls were very nice but it got repetitive. I need to open that door but first i have to turno on this fountain to walk through there and kill a horde of guys to then open the door and then i will have to do a puzzle..and so on

Yea, God of War does follow a formula.. they did it for the first two--it worked, so they did it again.

You want variety? Go to a talent show.
You want to beat the shit out of things? Play GoW.
