If you want to play online MP, SOCOM2... If you want to kill pedestrians, cops, pimps, ho's, drug dealers, etc... Vice City Stories.
Not that the above for VCS are good things to do, in the real world, but they are fun as hell to do in the game.
Vote: Vice City Stories.

Monster Hunter 2! but out of those two games get GTA VICE city. If you've played socom on Playstation 2, the PSP version will just disapoint you, but the GTA games for the PSP feel just like playing the originals.

I think the SOCOM 2 has the typical psp fps controls, which SUCK in my opinion; the analog stick looks around/points you in a direction and the right side mimics the missing right analog stick; triangle moves forwad, X is back and square and O strafe. Now imaging walking forward with triangle but turning around a corner with the analog. Grr.. frustrates the hell out of me.
Get either if you can deal with the controls.

Yeah, takes some time...>.<
I like the way Ghost in the Shell has their layout for movement.
The symbols move your view/aim and the analog stick moves your character w/ the shoulder buttons strafing.

Of course, this would have been all avoided if the psp came with another analog nub.

The simple solution is to allow customizable key assignments like every pc game out there. Now that would be a nice hack/mod for CFW users (iRSHELL enhancements?). | |
