Crisis Core FF7 english T.B.O.G review

i personally like xplay. but yea giving FFCC a 2 out of 5 was pretty surprising. you'd think billions of fans plus having a PSP system dedicated to the game wasnt enough

I was surprised also; I never watch the show but I caught that episode... and I have the game and love it because I was a FF7 freak. IGN gave it an 8.5 and I thought that was more just. 2 out of 5 is crap. If anything the hacking ans slashing is boring but pushing the story line along is what's driving me. lol

just so u guys know. the ppl on X-play are byest. they Hate final fantasy games in general. they said so emselves. and they honestly dont enjoy the psp

That sucks though. Why should an Xbox and first person shooter fan write a review for a PSP RPG game? How fair is that to your average gamer? I know some people are like "Oh Adam Sessler you rock man" but okay why should he write the review of an RPg game if he dislikes RPG games in the first place? After the big uproar G$/X-Play had I'm actually surprised he's still around.

well honestly speaking i was so excited when they mentioned Crisis core coming out in English(since i was playing the jap version).. and i finally got it on monday, but only to be disappointed but the really crappy dubbing.. ALL the people sounds the same.. cold and unemotional, i would have preferred jap dubbing with the english subs. and not to mention the lower quality videos in the english version. but i will stil play it for the storyline.

you smoking something, Pazuzu? the combat system in crisis core is NOTHING like the combat system in new or old FF games, i played ff12.. and never remember a roulette wheel popping up, or the ability to attack enemies without being affected by 'turn based' rules.

well, i just mean deviating from the combat system they used 1-9 +11 (turn based). it worked. it didn't need to be changed. and honestly i was so pissed when i got to the first save point i shut it off and i haven't picked it up since.

wow it seems that non of you guys like crisis core, the english dubbing was fine. the only part of the dubbing that annoyed me is when the modulating phaze called Tseng, and then zack used his phone and shouted "im trying, im trying", i was like........dude, that sounded better in jap. the gameplay is solid. turn based is cool dont get me wrong. but it got a little boring. i strongly disliked ff12 battle system. i went with it but wasnt fond of it, being u could run away as far as u wanted and u were still a sitting duck to the weakest of enemies who can reach u a mile away

I really liked the game. Some people are like "oh well the monsters don't really do anything but stand there." Believe me try it on hard mode and you won't see much standing cause you'll be getting your butt kicked. I just hate how some XBOX Shooter fan for Xplay reviews an RPG for the PSP. What were they thinking? I'd fire the guy for the uproar he caused. Find it funny that hundreds of people e-mailed him and X-play.

yeah call me weak but damn... i just got the game and am playing it for the first time (i was dumb enough to start with hard mode), and damn i havent played a game this challenging since trying to to take on Oblivion on the hardest mode.

It turned into ranting a while back... lol It's fun though, hating on the show.

I did read the review though, and I thought it was valid.

Still, making fun of x play is just since there is such a huge fan base. Even if it was some sort of joke, you know Final Fantasy fanatics took it to heart. lol (like myself)

I really like the game I just find it unfair that an RPG hating Xbox 360 fan msakes a review for Crisis Core. But whatever i love the game screw that guy.

I don't think they did too bad of a dubbing job myself... maybe it's just me. Then again, anything you say will fall on deaf ears. I'm a FFVII fanatic after all. =]
