For a flight/war simlulator:
Ace of Combat X: Skies of Deception.

Very good game imo

Ace Combat X was surprisingly good.
So was Afterburner but its comical arcade flight shooter.

I don't like FPSs for the PSP, no second analog nub.

Killzone is a really good military... platform.. strategy.. game.. thing.

I like the Warhammer : Squad Command game. It is not realistic modern day warfare. It is a turn based tactical simulation which is fun to play. I don't particular car for the fast paced shoot em ups anymore.

I'm fine with no second analog stick. Most people just use the move controls as the analog stick and the aiming controls as the face buttons. I switched them around, takes some time to get used to but one you do it's so easy to kill people.

As for strategy games Field Commander and Warhammer are the only ones on the PSP.

Killzone is a decent game, I personally thought it was terrible but that's just my opinion. The gameplay's too slow for my liking.

Ace Combat X: SoD I couldn't really get "into". There was just something empty from the game.

Killzone was teh pwnage. And then god for war, but id put that in more fantasy. Alien vs predator.. but that wasnt very good.

Brothers in Arms D-Day - I thought was a little underrated, but it wasnt good by an means. Honestly, dont look for a specific genre of games, look for games that are good.
