FF8 Vs. FF7
I prefer FF8 as i think it has a better story, and i like the junction system.
Anyone think different? |

I'm sure many will say FF7. I say it's a tie, i prefered the materia in 7 but the story and theme of 8 appealed to me more. Though I didn't like the idea of drawing magic and storing it.

The idea of drawing magic is storing is basically used with the junction system and skills. I dont know a better way to get magic, but doing this makes the game longer. I didn't like FF7, overhyped and alot other things along with it i didnt like. |

I love Final fantasy VIII way more than FF7. The story line is definately better and the mini game is superb. I also would say that the interlaced cut scenes are superior. Over all I will and continue to play and beat Final Fantasy VIII over FF7 any day. |

I haven't played 8 but I beat 7 and it was great. If your stuck, use cwcheat though it may ruin some of the fun. I did some research and in most top 10 or 20 video games of all time lists ffvii is num.1 or 2 wheres 8 is not mentioned.

Never really got into 7, don't even know if i ever completed it. FF8 however i love, played it to completion many times. I liked the story and battle systems better than 7. |

nah nah nah nah nah ff7 all the way, it has a WAY better intro than ff8. i played ff8 and got bored the first 5 minutes. Reason #1 the graphics look horrible i know its a ps1 game but i would pick ff7 graphics. Reason # 2 the introduction of the game ff7 you jump off a train and fight Shinra right there, in ff8 your laying in a bed talking for 10 minutes, and then u end up in school or something and have to show this girl where this room is i mean cmon thats kinda lame.
But Squall is the shit, hes my second best character in Dissidia

Well I have beat both Final Fantasy eight and Seven. Both are great games, my favorite two out of the series. That I have played.
Eight has some unique features, and the story is good. But in my opinion it seems really long. I guess I have to go to the all popular Final Fantasy Seven, how "unique" of me. They graphics may not be as great as eights, but I loved it. Maybe because it was my first Final Fantasy. I like Sevens story more too. |
