Thumbs down Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 Review... so far

Game Title : Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
Game Description : Action, Role-Playing
Number Of Players : 1!?!?!
Genre : ACTION
Retail Price : $39.99
Graphics: 6 out of 10
Sound: 6 out of 10
Controls: 8 out of 10
Gameplay: 7 out of 10
Overall: 6.5 out of 10

Okay, 1st off, I am very dissapointed in this sequel for PSP. The 1st one has better graphics, the ability to zoom in/out, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY IT HAD AD-HOC AND INFRASTRUCTURE CO-OP!

This one DOES NOT have multiplayer at all, ADHOC or otherwise. You can't zoom in or change/rotate the camera angle at all. You have LESS options as far as upgrading your character. When in the character menu, the characters look like crap. Hell, even in the game, the characters look bland.

The only good things about this game is a new story allowing you later on to choose a side in Marvel's Civil War, but that also has drawbacks, since you lose half your available roster. AND the FUSION moves, but to be honest they don't look all that great on the PSP screen, again, since the combined moves from the 1st game looked better.

This game is a total rip-off. If you never played the 1st game, I suggest picking that one up instead. Atleast then you can play w/ a friend or even online w/ random people. NOT to mention, pick it up used.

Bottom line, I don't recommend anyone buy this game for the PSP. Pick it up on 360 or PS3 by all means, but not for PSP. If you haven't played the 1st one, go get it for PSP instead of this crap. Save your money.

MUA is one of the greatest console multi players ever. I remember playing coop with my friends on 360, it was great. I guess some games aren't meant for portable.
