i guess with the controls 8 over 10 is good.

Well what'a ya expect, its a DS port of a GTA game. It has your standard hijacking, fighting, gunfire, prostitutes, etc. Of course the twist in this is the over the head view is sorta back. Its not horrible, but it makes me wonder why they ported this. I mean the gameplay is ok, but the biggest problem becomes apparent soon on, driving is a BITCH. You can use either the analog or d-pad for movement, but each has their problems and faults, d-pad gives you more control in cars, but walking or running around is clunky and crucifies your hands, analog works fine on foot, but driving lacks control. Here's what will happen you'll try to make a turn and swerve into a car/wall and at some point tap a cop car and then go to a car chase. The game isn't all a downgrade, the email and yes GPS! has been incorporated into the game, and while it works, it just makes me long for a proper 3-d version. The minigames from the DS are ok in the game, its kinda refreshing to not be blocked by lock doors, and instead to have to do a varying type of minigame, but I just started playing so it has yet to wear on my nerves. Overall I give it an 8 out of 10
PROS:
NEW GTA
Incorporates new features (YEAH GPS!)
Storyline isn't half bad
Gameplay is fun
CONS:
2 1/2 D, I remember that but I don't want to
Driving Control lacks precision
Annoying Cam (again 2 1/2 D)
Back in Liberty City, Again

i guess with the controls 8 over 10 is good.
I thought that this game was going to be horrible because of the over head view but it was actually pretty fun but I like the stuff that they added like selling drugs, the start menu, the cars, guns, how you can ram the cop cars, and how you steal tings like cars even though the numbers mini game is a bitch. But aside from everything else I think the game deserves a 7/10

Graphically, it's better on the PSP because of the resolution, but the gameplay itself was better suited for the DS, especially because it has a touchscreen for the minigames. Also, DS games are usually less demanding. This could have been a high-end PSP Mini.

its totally lame dude
gta liberty city stories was better than this

I love this game it's very addictive, like every other GTA game...
just finished it. speedrun btw. took me 9 hours.
i was a little dissapointed with this version because you cant import your own music like the other GTA games on the psp, other than that & the steering i'd rate this a 8/10![]()

Eh it's not bad..like how you can make Molotov Cocktails at a gas station and the drug dealing.Anyone got a Rockstar Social Club ID?
i honestly really detest this game, the view is horrid.
