Do you think that if we all donate enough that some of these ad's
could be removed from the forum.
this forum doesn't look like a nice place anymore
as these ad's have taken over.

i realise we would donate as a "thankyou" but would there be a thankyou for the donations? eg, i donated 30 euros to Dark Alex - it aint alot but i feel better coz i used his OE-A firmware, & now my PSP has a new lease of life lol, HOWEVER, he still hasnt said thanks

maybe im just being daft lol, but just a "thanks for your support" would have been nice.

Anyway, payday if 29th lol so ill be making a donation here as well, wont be much coz im always broke, but same again... a new game would of cost me Ã‚Â£xx, since i can play iso's etc & potentially d/l games play homebrew and my own appz, & technically saved me Ã‚Â£ in the long run, i feel it only fair to donate to him & here since if it wasnt for this forum i wouldnt have done it.

sounds more like a mini rant lol,

just think a "thanks to our donators" list or something would be good. obv. doesnt show amount as anything is something to help

I feel you as I too am paying my way thru school so money is tight but I will give what I can.

I also know that Ads are the support for sites that need money to stay alive on the internet but try as you may it is something that just is but let's try and get the community to support a great site like this and maybe we will see fewer of them.

Yeah, I'm usually broke too...

About the ads: It took me a LONG time to realize that this site had ads...
If you don't want to see any ads, on any site, get Firefox and Ad Block Plus.

Donating gives the admin money to make this site better.

Web sites make money by having ads on them, also donations help with pulling in money.

My Paypal account Blocked, i will make new one and donate for the site, but if you really can't donate, just click on ads with different IPs , if you don't know how change your IP there is another solution, go school and from the School Computers click on the ads, there are many whys ...

Maybe you can advertise this more, like:

Donate more than ..$ and you're status will be changed to VIP
(like on the psp-media.nl site)

This Site have nothing to share in private ( VIP ), those sites are illegal Web Sites and Share *.ISO Games and other illegal stuff in Private ! so people don't pay for Help, They pay for illegal stuff ( Game Images , .... )

Admin, check my post in the recommnedations section about a paid subscription feature that vBulletin has. I guarantee you will make more money with subscriptions than you will with all the google adsense ads!

@Unforgiv3N: check the psp-media.nl site. They offer a VIP status for everybody that donates more than 8 Euros. It's nothing illegal. You can offer a other status, with things like:
- more icons
- special VIP section on the forum
- just some more options extra for your profile
- etc.

Just a suggestion, nothing else....
