id love to mod this forum. But im just startin as a mod on coolzone. I think its a great site, and to mod it would be really hard, but would be a challenge lol

We're discussing mods choices right now. We think it's the best way for us to come up with some candidates and talk amongst ourselves (The mods and admin) about who would be the best choice. We will review their past posts here at PSPMod and discuss very carefully. We WILL make the right choice, no worry about that.

i really do hope this is true because like iv said i found this site a huge help and it has also taught me some amazing new skills that i find very rewarding as do my 6 friends whos psp's iv downgraded and fully customised!
it'll be a shame if this site goes down any more or loses any more respect from its members its even more of a shame its taken this amount of time for any action to be taken not to mention the public display thats taken place!!!

still got to say its still just as funny now as it was at school watching these little kick off's if not more so now just for the fact in school it was real life, this well this is nothing but words on a screen!!

To choose, canadianbacon would be a great mod. He helped me, and everyone else on the forum. He is active everyday, he is real friendly, and he really knows what he is doing.

im not saying im very knowledgable as some of the others on this site but i do make an effort to get on the site everyday and i try to help to my fullest, everyone has questions to ask even the moderators. im just saying that you should judge your decision on active time on the site and psp knowledge. just thought id give my opinion. and im just stepping on new ground, im modding my first psp slim.

indeed I find sometimes (because I'm usually on when he's on) I'll be helping someone in chat and they'll ask a question about a rather odd problem outside of my knowledge and I'll say "Oh I don"t know just wait for bacon to get here and he'll know"

oh and because I noticed other people posting mod experience I guess I'll post I am currently modding for chaoticage.com (lol we just had a horrible time at changing servers like a week ago so it might look a little wimpy at the moment)

The reason we don't have a poll is because of last time.
The official thread became a huge flame war.
Cheating was suspected.
The whole community got mad at each other.
It just didn't work.

Not to mention how a poll will set up a popularity contest. Whereas this, the mods, and admin, are actually discussing who will make a better mod, based on qualifications that a good mod should have. They're determining who would make the best mod, rather than "who is the coolest."

And, at the very end of it, this site is owned by the admin, and he's the one who is in charge of all his staff. He must have seen that the election didn't go as well as it should have, and rather than take that same gamble again, he'd make sure that he gets it right this time.

In all seriousness though... admining (new word, all mine) a forum with any kind of frequent activity is hell, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I might just get a little too tied up in what random people think of me, but you can only piss a certain amount of people off before it starts making you bitter. I have nothing but respect for people who can keep up with it for an extended time.

It hasn't worked the past two times, and I don't think it was the mods' fault.

It was without a doubt. What did the mods do ? Say "NO more flaming" but no taking action ?

If one user goes down a week the rest would sit quiet after the incident. And that does not mean banning and being a ass-mod. Its having some attitude to keep things 'down' and under control. Which the mods back then lacked.

Hope whoever you guys pick is the right choice. *pick a nice person* not only "YEAH they are good with psps and they are 24/7 on" thats good but get good people as well.
