Moderator Shake Up

As per the issues you raised in this thread THIS is a site improvment. it has been decided that we need to review the moderators on this site.

I have demoted 4 moderators over the last few weeks / days and we currently have 4 active moderators and an admin (Myself who also moderates)

We will be looking to promote 2 people to become moderators, I have not decided who yet, But an announcement will be made over the next few days

You should pick them on experience with vB forums as well, along with psp knowledge.

Just kidding, I gave up my mod spot since there are people here who are much more active and helpful these days. Good luck pspmod, I'll still drop by from time to time.

EDIT: My user title still says mod, but I'm am no longer a mod so if one of you mods could change that... if you could make it "Super Senior Member" instead of just "Senior Member" that would be nice. Thanks.

i don't think it will matter. whoever gets chosen will do a good job, but there will be 4 or 5 ppl who dont like them and will cause an uproar, start polls on who should be a new mod, flame the old ones, get up admin's butt to look for new ones, and the cycle will start over again. I think whoever bitches about how the site should get new mods, should just be tempbanned, then permbanned. Deal with what there is or go to one of the hundreds of other psp forums. I used to jump on this forum about 5 times a day. Now i log on maybe once every 4 or 5 days. The drama and BS is way too much for a simple help forum.

he should only approve people with moderator experience. (like myself lol although im only the mod for cellphonehacks.com, madspot.info, and well thats it)

This is pretty good,
I want to thank Drizzle for all his effort during his reign, he was without a doubt the best SUPERMOD from the old-times which was when I was a noob starting up with 1post. And so far JR will be the one that I will talk to since 'matrixsucks' apparently shows my "PMs' in public.

I have a suggestion:

1. You guys can't pick whoever you want to be a mod. Why dont you make a POLL?
first: forget what happened last time, It wasn't the users fault If you mods didn't want any flame it would have been possible but any of the mods did a good job keeping the thread clean and free of flaming. So in short words it was the mods fault. *Under good management the POLL would run flawlessly* And considering JR skills keeping my thread clean he would do that job perfectly.

If you guys open a POLL *which is the right way to do* and keep it under control and saying FLAME and your OUT for a week. I think it would do the job ,Its fair and would be a lot more organized.

2: Pick a Mod that actually KNOWS about PSPs. I mean come ON theres like a bunch of PROS around us that have the time and experience to be MODs. 98% of the mods are PSPmods are "OFF TOPIC" posters. The other two are "JR , Julie and Justin" Which I myself saw they have a huge load of experience with PSPs. That would be good. Also picking an user that moderates 5 other forums is not a good idea as well with 1 - 300 post count. Pick an user that comes here a LOT and with posts you can tell who they are. They have the love for the site.

Thats my two cents I guess, Thanks a lot Admin for the quick results.

Ill miss you Drizzle you were by far my favorite.
But I respect that you need to live your life like
you stated. I hope we will still see you around the forum.
