Believe you, me. Since you've been gone, PSPMod has seen about 20 or 30 (seriously) "______ Should be Mod" threads. This has been discussed and discussed, literally beaten to death. There's no need for a new mod right now. matrix and jrmbd have it covered.
Just because they didn't post in the thread, doesn't mean that they haven't read it, and made sure everything was fine.
That's typically what I do. I don't even post too much anymore, I just read the threads.
Sometimes threads get out of hand, and it's easier, and better for the community to just have it locked.

You know what I've noticed, Brittany?
Every time something "terrible" happens to you, you go do something drastic, and complain about how bad PSPMod is.
- Someone else wants to make coldboots too. You close the thread, say that someone is an asshole, and completely overreact.
- You don't like the new logo. Revamp that idea.
- You get a couple posts locked. You start a new thread with a pissy message saying how you always get your threads locked.
- That thread gets locked. You make a new thread about how bad the mods are.
You disagree with a mod, you leave the forums, claiming that you're too busy.

I don't even remember why you made the one thread a while ago about how bad the mods are... The big one. That's how often you make these posts. They're all running together.

hmmm... that was interesting...

editing out all of the useless banter, I think the arguments went something like this

argument 1. (for new mod)
a.the mods are self centered
b. the mods are relatively inactive
c. the mods dont use good judgement when it comes to deciding to lock, ban, delete, ect.

argument 2. (against new mod)
a. The mods say they're good
b. they aren't actually inactive

well it would seem that nobody has really argued the 2nd side to this equation very thoroughly. Perhaps the mods themselves should defend their position?
Just some wandering thoughts

Anyway, I have noticed that the forum is relatively lightly modded and I dont really see the mods much (I think 2 or 3 posts Ive seen so far) perhaps an extra "hands on" moderator would be an efficient addition to the
site. I personally have modded a relatively large forum (Age of Chaos : mmorpg if your interested) and I didn't find it incredibly taxing...perhaps a few annoying pms but beside that rather easy and I posted all the time...

I thought this was a discussion as to what should be done about the way members were being treated especially noobs, and watched it turned into a fist fight, I only post now when I see that someone asks for help and if I can;t help I tried to get what info I can is that not what we all are suppose to do? What Brittney has said to the effect is that there are members that lord over those few who are not sure of themselves and don't want to find out the hard way that one misplay will result in a expensive paperweight, that is her concern and I have witnessed here what she has been voicing, a non participation of MODs telling people to use search or google to get help. I am not one to start trouble for I was a noob once and got my help here before I got my PSP so nothing is more comforting then a little handholding while you get your feet wet or have you forgotten what it was like to be a noob?

I simply stated facts and analyzed hypothesis(pardon I do not know the plural form) with a possible course of action .

taking sides is of little importance at this point in time...perhaps if one were to make a more formal thread with perhaps a poll I would become more involved but as of now I stated what I stated until further feedback is given

Its comments like yours that start things because there was an argument between Datahn and Brittany and you had to step in and insult someone. Dont say its all Dathans fault, theres been a ton of flaming going on here from everyone. Whether "caveman was not even 0.5% or what he said to her" is irrelevant, you stuck your nose into an argument that didnt involve you just to insult someone without offering to remedy the situation.
Hopefully matrixsucks gets here and closes this soon, its just going to be flame war after flame war and its not leading anywhere. There have been tons of pasts regarding new mods. If new mods were needed, we would have them by now.

If im not mistaking you did the same and it does not matter I quoted him as "LAST" flaming saying" STOP THE FLAME" and he well deserved the comment.
