I remember some time ago the argument about what can be done to help all those new forum members from asking the same old questions, not reading stickies, and not using(or knowing how to use) the search feature. Well I'm joining a new unrelated forum and their registration page is amazing. How about modeling a new page for us after this one? Check it out!
Could this possibly be a sign of advertising? Eh I dunno, but on this one forum I'm part of Right when you sign up or log in, you're forced to read a sticky of some sort, either the rules or just some other helpful stickies.

Not a good idea, I just completely overlooked the entire thing.
I didn't read one word of anything it said, I just checked "I AGREE" to everything, and just like that, I've got an account.
It's just as use -ful/less as ours, only ours is less to not read..
