Hey! So I'm a long time Windows user but constantly flirt with the idea of using Linux... nice to meet you.
I read this article about how to turn an old USB/thumb drive in to something useful. There was a list of portable applications, one of which was Puppy Linux. I've got it ready, I burned the ISO to a CD and will boot from it as soon as I find my USB drive, lol.
But my question is; if I log onto one of the communal computers at work and boot up linux from the USB and run Firfox, will it get around the content filters so I can get on Myspace and Youtube(wich are obviously blocked)????
I really didn't want to have to register at a Linux forum for this. Thanks for any help!!
