Default Dualbooting with Xp and Ubuntu 9.04

Well i just set my computer to dualboot xp and ubuntu 9.04, and i want to overtime make it 100% linux, the reason behind the dualboot is so i can familiarize myself with linux. So what mp3 player would you guys recommend? Also are there any other programs i should get my hands on?

*edit* Nevermind as for the mp3 player, i simply put on the restricted plugins
