I plan on starting an EBay eagle eye thread, where we can post great deals on Macs. As long as it does not mess with my ability to get Macs on the cheap by having to compete with other PSPMOD users all the time. The PowerBook is going to be a best bet without having to fork over the $1k for an Intel.
did you get your spetum pierced?
When I did that, I hated it since I exhale hits out of my nose a lot; and it caused me to sneeze constantly. I took it out. I once had a number of piercings but I am now down to my lip being the only one that has not closed; it never will. I don't have not had jewelry for it for almost 5 months, but I can still put things in the hole. |

Any ATA 100 Harddrive will work, it will just have to be formatted to HFS, which an OS X install will do for you. you could even buy an extra and hook it up external via USB/Firewire and disk clone the dirve in there to the external one so you would not have to spend 20 minutes installing OS X. This way you also get whatever apps were left on the drive from the previous owner. |

good one.....
I am leaning towards yes, but I am researching right now
I believe they are limited to 128GB like the G4 PowerMacs, however there is a third party dirver by initech that allows over 128GB drives on G4 models. I have it and it should work, I would be happy to upload it for you when/if the time comes. |

i fit a .26 rc motor into a stadium truck (imagine putting a flat 12 ferrari engine into a toyota prius and making it work... its equal to that), so im sure i could fit a full size drive into a mac.. given its thick enough
i looked at the last link you posted about the drive install, and i bet i could install a bigger drive by mounting it sideways inside that empty bay next to the drive... if its not used for anything else. i know theres slim 300gb full size drives, as my 200gb external is only a half inch thick or so |

I dont know where in CT you are but I got curious and hit up craigslist and this http://hartford.craigslist.org/sys/301663393.html
is a good deal. CT is not that big so it can't be more than an hour away. I would cut the EBay/Shipping BS and go take a look at that. |
