Default Left Directional Button

My left directional button is not sticking but it has a fault in it and I want to know if there is an easy way of fixxing this. My psp is played by many hands, which it is not going to be anymore. My left directional button will not work unless pressed with force or press directly on the tip... I think there maybe something dislocated inside my psp, does anyone know the answer before I open it for no reason? When I push on the bottom of my button the down directional button takes effect after the left process is complete, and I tried it on the other buttons and no directions intercept with each other.

Jesus X_X Not again. I midest well put it away for a week, I won't be able to get the damn thing open with a cast on my hand. Took me 4 hours before when I was trying to find out there motherboard code.

Actually I was just informed that the psp fell lastnight so the pad underneath may be knocked out of place.

dont double post. 3 times = 1 week ban

its not spring yet!

but in all truthefullnes, you said you tried opening it once before, why was that? do you possibly think thay may have caused it?

also just try compressed air, something might be inside causing it not to hit the contacts correctly..

iF the problem occured after it dropped something must have been knocked loose, open it up whenever you can and see what is wrong, pray that you don't have to replace the directional pad

nah no need for that. as it might be dirt, try getting a can of compressed air and then blow away from the outside of the psp... then press the button as your pressing. it might(if your lucky) blow the dirt away, or if your unlucky you will just waste a can of air.
