You could have just smacked the crap out of the psp, it usually works for my PS2's wireless controllers

if u dont want to void ur warranty take out the 2 screws above the warranty sticker pull the faceplate a lil and try to jiggle it bak in if that dont work then jus void it all repairs u would have to do are cheaper to do it urself then sendin it bak to sony and extremely simple to do the only thing that would cost a lot is the mb and hopefully u dont brick it.

taking out the two screws above the warranty sticker isnt opening it or voidin the warranty sticker its just loosening it so u can jiggle the button into place...
