jammed o button

what do i do...nething i can do w/o opening the psp up

try taking out one of the screws to losen the faceplate up, then giggle it a little, if it aint to far jammed back then should pop into place.

try using a small pin or sewing needle to jiggle it round a little bit if that doent work then the only thing u can do is take a couple ov screws out as thornygravy sed!!!

like he said without opening it or removing the warranty stick losen the black screw under the battery above the warranty sticker and try and jiggle it in to place or maybe try turning the o button with ur finger until it pops in its probably out of alignment

well i have a similar problem mine is is the square button, is it because i have one of the first psp's.

yea mines a custom green smooth as silk one so thst prolly the prob

Because everything breaks or wears with time. Did you think it would last forever?

well maybe because when i see the square button i can see the bottom like if, the button is stuck.

alright well if u tried everything then y u askin ur only other option is to open it which would immediately fix the problem.

ill try to help u one more time here is a pic of what it should look like inside (notice how all 4 connectors are in their slots)

here is what im guessing urs is like inside
(again look how the 4 connectors are out of place)

now to fix this without opening it u should try to turn it with ur finger while pushing it in tryin to realign the 4 connectors into their slots


if that doesnt help i dont know what to tell u

begginer do not try that with the square button as it is made completely different that would only work for the triangle x and o buttons for the square i can only sugest opening moving it into place and shuttin it nothin hard but will void ur warranty. hope it helps
