I got my PSP in January when I was visiting Japan.

It's blue.

Anyone else have one of the JDM-only PSP's? When I turned it on for the first time, Playstation was written in Hirigana.

From what it looked like, the blue version had been out for only a few days, and I got the only one I found in all of Japan (and I looked!). Apparently they were a very limited run.

They have a bunch of colors over there that I don't think are available in the USA. They had black and white (available here, I think), pink, blue, and silver. Plus, the Metal Gear Portable Ops special edition camoflauge model.

I was torn between the camo and the blue. I got the blue, because I figured it wouldn't be available in the US.

Anyone else have a JDM PSP?

Oh, and with the exchange rate, my PSP was about $50USD cheaper than the US version, and I got all of my accessories for a lot less. I spent just about $200 US for the PSP, a 4GB card, a Logitech hard-case, and a "value pack".

Hmm...what does this have to do with Mods and Hack: Hardware? Anyway, souds cool man, no i've never seen a blue PSP, I thought the only color available in the US was Black. I had to special order my white one from Malaysia.

Since you are a new member, try hitting up the "Introduce yourself" forum and tell us what your plans for your psp are. What firmware you are running now etc, etc.
