memory cards serve nothing to do with RAM. if you have custom firmware, go into your advanced config in the boot menu and you can push your max psp speed to like 333Mhz.

just a footnote to that - pushing your psp to 333mhz will significantly reduce your battery time, but does affect all of the psp (speed-wise)

yes that is true, especially with the stock Sony batteries provided with the PSP. you can buy a battery that has like 3200MaH but I dont think I would recoomend that as Ive read stories and seen videos of electronics blowing up due to overloads from the battery. you get about 10 hour full charge running all defaults.. run at 333mhz you get about half that on a full charge. try starting at 222, then go to 266, until you see a change.. only gotta be at 333MHz if none of the others work for ya

but wont pushing the processor speed to 333 which is basically overclocking it make it wear out sooner?

333 mhz is not overclocking teh processor, the psp's processor was designed to run at 333 mhz, but sony downclocked it to 222 mhz to increase battery life. It's like buying a pentium m @ 1.5 ghz and downclocking it to 1 ghz to save your laptops battery life. and personally, i dont think itl make a big difference in the processors lifespan

ooh i see so if i dont really care about battery life, like when im using it at home, its better to use it a 333 mhz. I guess it will help daedalus work better as well right? Speaking about performance, does it affect the psp's performance at all when im running isos or otherthings and i have the umd disabled?
