Did you test to see if it's "Magic Gate" ?

To test:

Go to PSP menu and highlight memory stick, press "triangle" then press "X". Information should show.

Mine reads:

User capacity: 7687 MB
Free Space : 3523 MB
MagicGate : Supported

Apparently the counterfeits sticks don't support "Magic gate" whatever that it...

i know for a fact it counter fit for a start mine dosent even have the name on it and it does say majic gate supprted
