Default Weird Joystick

My psp is pretty old, from two years ago or something, and im too lazy to send my psp in to sony to get it fixed just for like dirt under the screen and stuff. So I mainly just remove the 5 nesassry batteries, and then open it up and clean the screens. But after a while (dont know when problem started to happen)
The joysticks starts to move on its own. Well not the joystick, but like it the cursor when i use the internet browser sometimes just goes up to the left and up. its really werid. I tried tightening the screw behind the joystick. any solutions>

It could be the sensitivity of the analog, there's a program to adjust it

[RELEASE] JoySens - CFW plugin for analog sensitivity adjustment - QJ.NET Forums

If its not that then I have no idea. I'm sure someone will help you eventually.
