Fix ID-Storage Key? - Page 2

Well you cant tell if your psp Id-Storage keys are corrupted unless you run key cleaner or you are able to boot up to xmb and find out that the UMD, Wifi, homebrew, ect... doesnt work. In your case it might be just a simple flash corruption which a simple lflash format will prolly fix.

Sounds like your keys are corrupt. You need IDstorage manager v1.3 http://forums.exophase.com/attachmen...4&d=1189919655

Read the readme file, but basically you run this on your psp and view the keys. The program will tell you if the key exists or is missing. Once you know that some keys are missing then thats why your psp wont work.

To fix it, you need you read the posts on lan.st Sony PlayStation Portable - LAN.ST

or join and someone will help you there. It is very complex to fix as you need to edit the keys with a hex editor.

cant play UMD, ISO, WIFI ETC as i tried to downgrade ma slim TA-85 (3.80m33-4)to 1.50 and i found out that ma psp's MAC ADDRESS is gone or whatever .....and i tried the HOMEMISTER and i am able to play homebrew applications only i am having a very tensed day so need help....it will be very thankfulll

My slim got bricked so it was pandorized to 3.80m33-5 now its working BUT it sez "Game cannot be started. The region code is not correct." everytime i execute a game or homebrew.. ALso i noticed i have no mac address

What should i do, can pandora cure this?? Helpo helpo

not sure about the mac address, but to fix "the game could not be started" go to recovery menu, by turning off the psp, and as you turn it on hold down the right trigger button. When the menu pops up, go to configuration, and go down to UMD ISO Mode - change that to NO UMD Sony driver.

To get homebrew working, you need to install Dark Alex's Timemachine - google it for information

even with dah time machine it still wont work...... u need nandtool v3 with elf menu and lets see u didnt backup ur id keys right..... well u can use other peoples key but u wont be able tah play gamez or upgradin, but homebrew is available u will have a mac adress...... jus two problems and dats all..... well im new tah dis forum.... still trnah figure out wut keys is fah dah umd and upgradin..... well ttyl......

Guys i did try all of fake regions and also setted to sony no umd.. as i said earlier i cant access any games or homebrews but the rest like videos work. what else can i do?? (wifi also doesnt work)

so homebrew does not work..... lets see il be back somewhere 4 or 5..... dah hoembrew can be fix but dah umd is wut dah problem im having..... well only two problems

hiya mate i have a problem i goosed all my id storage on my psp i used a ta 082 nand backup and installed because my psp messed up wasnt even thinking about id storage or motherboards or anything and ever since my psp says it has no keys i have tried reading up but everyone i ask or everywhere i go says i have to send it back to sony which i cnt be botherd doing its an old psp anyway but i wudnt mind tryin to fix them myself if u have a way can you help me? thankyou

There is no way to fully fix your ID-Storage key without an original dump of your psp. The way I fixed mines is because I had a partial dump of my original and also sent one into sony. lol

Read Karlos's post for links on how to get homebrew working but thats the only thing that will work again. Also I think dax is working on a version of Time machine that will boot ID-Keys from memorystick instead of flash so that maybe your salvation but have no clue when it will be released or at all.

yo dude thanks for the response as ma bad i couldnt play any internet browser, cant upgrade , etc...........so dude if you can heflp that would be great...
