yes. Thats what the description says on their site. You will however need a memorystick with the correct files in order for it to work.

The battery itself does not..

The battery is set into service mode that runs off the memory stick instead of flash.

For fat psp's you can use pandora memory stick or the new universal one, slims can only use the universal as they cannot be downgraded.
