Default Pandora Questions: PSP-110 Battery Small Board

Sorry for asking nub questions.. But i have searched this forum/the whole internet for answers haha. I have a PSP-110 battery which i am dying to do the hardmod on to activate service mode. However my particular battery is one of them lame small board ones with the PCB at the top of the battery, which i have never seen a photo or a guide of which IC and which leg of the IC to de-solder...

Anyone have any ideas?
Advice or answers would be greatly appreciated ^_^.

PS. I tried to post some photos for clarification but i don't have 15 posts...

thanks for the reply ^_^

yeh ive seen those guides and my battery has a different layout, it has the PCB at the top like the slim battery but with a different layout. It is an official sony battery from about a year ago i assume. (I got the psp second hand so i dont know exactly when it was from). I have seen other people post on forums with photos and questions but i havent seen an answer.

yeh, mine is one of the two variants of the original psp-110 battery i think. it seems to have not been covered in any guides, but lots of people ask about it.

I think this is the right ic:

Does this method work with fake batteries? or 2200mAh?

Hey i'm new to these forums so firstly hey.

Secondly i have this same problem.
I have the same type of battery judging from the pictures.
Have you found out which pin to remove??
If so i would be grateful if you could post a pic with the pin circled or something cause i don't understand all this pin 4 pin 5 business lol.

Also what's up with the font colour on the forum??? not in the actual messages but like when you wanna post a reply it's transparent and you have to highlight it to see what it says?

Anyway that's not important to me what is important is WWWHHATTT PIINNN!!???!!??!!??1111??1!!/!?/!?/1//!!!??? lol

haha i feel ur pain... well first of all, we need confirmation that the L02 chip (that i have highlighted) is the eeprom.. then we need to find the pin layout and remove the grounding pin.. but until we get some confirmed information we might have to start lookin for a friend with a homebrew enabled psp haha.

also it appears some of the site's font colour isnt compatible with our browsers or sumthin.. haha i have no idea
