I'm pretty sure the answer is no. I think the slim's buttons are thinner

actually there bigger as in taller so its easier to press the buttons resulting in better gameplay

I see... I remember seeing a side by side comparison of them and remembered them being different sizes, I just assumed that the shorter ones belonged to the slim...
